[Hiring] Senior Program Manager @Somewhere

Role Description

We are seeking a highly capable, bilingual Senior Program Manager — Business Transformation & Systems to lead a major multi-phase operational transformation across our growing, multi-location services enterprise. This is a full-time, long-term position. During the initial 4–6 months, you will focus on establishing the systems, processes, documentation, and program-management discipline required to support rapid growth across multiple locations and business lines. Beyond the initial transformation phase, you will serve as a permanent operational leader, continually refining processes, managing new asset onboarding, and expanding operational systems as the business scales. This is not an IT support role and does not require deep technical coding expertise. Our on-the-ground team brings strong industry and operational knowledge; your role is to bridge the gap in systems implementation, process design, documentation, cross-functional program management, and execution discipline.

Initial Transformation Focus (Months 1–6)

• ERP & Systems Stabilization:
  • Assess current systems and workflows, beginning with the company’s core ERP platform.
  • Identify critical issues, configuration gaps, and process gaps.
  • Identify workarounds and legacy-system dependencies.
  • Identify training deficiencies and unresolved operational decisions.
  • Deliverable: A prioritized implementation roadmap with clear owners and deadlines.
• Legacy System Retirement:
  • Define what must occur to safely retire remaining legacy systems.
  • Deliverables: Dependency map, cutover plan, testing requirements, reconciliation process, go/no-go criteria, and contingency plan.
• New Asset / Business Integration:
  • Build a repeatable process for onboarding new assets, locations, and businesses.
  • The initial priority includes integrating a significant new managed asset portfolio that will materially increase the size and geographic complexity of the operation.
• Process Mapping & SOPs:
  • Document priority workflows and convert tribal knowledge into scalable operational processes.
  • Deliverables: Practical SOPs, checklists, process maps, screenshots, video demonstrations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Training Infrastructure:
  • Create role-based training modules allowing new employees to become productive quickly without relying heavily on specific individuals.
• Program Management & Dashboarding:
  • Create a single transformation dashboard tracking: Project, Owner, Deadline, Status, Dependency, Risk, Next Action, and Executive Decision Required.
  • Run a disciplined weekly program-management cadence.
• Long-Term Systems Roadmap:
  • Develop and execute a prioritized 3–6–9 month roadmap covering ERP, workflow systems, fleet systems, integrations, automation, reporting, asset tracking, RFID, and other operational technology opportunities.

Ongoing & Permanent Responsibilities (Post-6 Months)

• Continuous Process & SOP Governance: Maintain and update company SOPs, process maps, and training materials as operating models evolve.
• Ongoing Systems & Vendor Management: Act as the operational bridge between internal business units, executive leadership, and external software/vendor partners.
• New Location & Market Expansions: Execute the onboarding playbook for future facility launches, acquisitions, and regional expansions.
• Operational Reporting & Program Tracking: Maintain ongoing executive visibility into key cross-departmental projects, operational risks, and system adoption metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional business transformation, ERP/enterprise systems implementations (ERP, WMS, TMS, or CRM), or management consulting engagements.
• Proven track record in process mapping, SOP development, and program governance across multi-site operational environments.
• Deep experience bringing structure to ambiguous, fast-moving entrepreneurial environments.
