Wage: $5 USD - $10 USD / hr
Schedule: 20-40 hrs/week
VirtueStaff is looking for an experienced Remote Route Manager/Scheduler to join our team. The Route Manager/Scheduler efficiently plans and manages daily service routes for our field technicians from a remote location. This role involves optimizing schedules, handling inbound calls, and ensuring timely service delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize daily service routes using scheduling software and mapping tools
- Monitor route performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve service delivery
- Schedule appointments and manage service requests
- Handle inbound calls, provide schedule updates, and address inquiries via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, technician availability, and client information
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and address route-related issues
- Communicate with drivers to ensure they have the information and resources needed for their routes
- Analyze route data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in route management, scheduling, or dispatch, preferably in a service-oriented industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in routing software and logistics management tools
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on metrics
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle unexpected challenges
