Role Description
The Open Wing Alliance (OWA), a program of The Humane League, is a global coalition of 90+ animal protection organizations united in a common goal: to end the abuse of chickens worldwide. As the OWA Coordinator, you will be accountable for:
- Maintaining the accuracy and organization of our resources
- Ensuring that member groups are equipped to use OWA tools
- Communicating effectively with members to keep them informed
This position reports directly to the Sr. Associate Director of OWA Projects and is a full-time, remote position requiring domestic and international travel, equivalent to 2 or more trips per year.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing instruction and training to OWA members of varying technical ability
- Proactively maintain the overall data integrity and quality of the OWA database in Salesforce
- Conceive and implement improvements to existing systems and processes
- Assist with planning and logistics for virtual and in-person training and events
- Lead the OWA Mentorship Program and assist with tracking communications for the OWA Travel Awards Program
- Oversee member access to OWA tools and systems
- Manage the OWA members’ site
- Facilitate effective communication with OWA members and external stakeholders
- Manage the general OWA email inbox
- Maintain accurate information and resources in the team Google Drive and staff intranet
- Administer and summarize bi-annual OWA membership surveys
- Other duties may be assigned as business needs arise
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in project management and collaboration
- Proficiency with contemporary software applications
- Ability to recognize and define problems and suggest improvements
- Self-directed and comfortable taking initiative
- Global perspective with an understanding of diverse experiences

- Ability to adapt to routine changes
Compensation and Benefits
The annual compensation range for this role is:
- $56,895 - $69,539 for candidates based in the United States
- £34,086 - £41,661 for candidates based in the United Kingdom
- 385,174Kč - 470,768Kč for candidates based in Czechia
- CHF69,500 - CHF104,200 for candidates based in Switzerland
