[Hiring] Project Manager Intern @TerraByte Green

Role Description

TerraByte Green is a non-profit startup based in North Carolina, focused on the intersection of digital equity and environmental sustainability. We manage e-waste responsibly by refurbishing technology to bridge the digital divide.

This is a fully remote internship, though candidates based in North Carolina, especially those local to our operating area, are preferred. You will work directly with our Founder and CEO and coordinate with interns and volunteers across our teams to plan, schedule, and track projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real project management experience in a mission-driven organization.

What You Will Do

• Plan projects using a work breakdown structure (WBS) to divide project scope into manageable tasks and deliverables
• Create network diagrams to map task dependencies, set the order of work, and identify the critical path
• Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders to make sure project milestones are met
• Use project management software to track tasks and report project progress to stakeholders
• Identify blockers and schedule risks early and work with the team to resolve them

Requirements

• North Carolina residency preferred, open to fully remote candidates
• Minimum commitment of 5 hours per week for a 3-month internship
• No prior project management experience required. We are looking for reliability and curiosity over existing skill
• Reports directly to the Founder and CEO
