Role Description

The Project Manager plans, drives, and delivers projects across TurnCare while helping mature how the organization executes work. You will bring consistency to project planning, communication, documentation, governance, and cross-functional coordination.

This role reports into the Engineering team and is deployed across business functions as priorities require. You will work closely with Product and Engineering while supporting projects throughout the company. You will direct project work by establishing timelines, tracking progress, escalating risks, and helping teams stay accountable to commitments.

As TurnCare grows, this role has the potential to help establish and evolve a broader project management function.

Types of Projects You'll Support

  • Commercial: Go-to-market initiatives, acceleration of sales and revenue programs
  • Field Operations: Field team launches and rollouts
  • IT / Information Services: System implementations, migrations, vendor transitions
  • Engineering: Software releases, device generations
  • Product: Roadmap delivery, cross-functional dependencies
  • Company-Wide: Process improvements, information governance, operating standards

From day one, you will take ownership of several active projects, including engineering, product, and business initiatives, while helping establish scalable ways of working across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Project Planning & Delivery:
    • Lead multiple concurrent projects from kickoff through completion.
    • Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, Gantt charts, status dashboards, and burndown tracking.
    • Apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches based on project needs.
    • Assign tasks, establish deadlines, and help teams stay accountable to commitments.
    • Track risks, issues, decisions, and scope changes, escalating blockers early.
    • Conduct retrospectives and capture lessons learned.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Facilitate kickoffs, stand-ups, sprints, steering meetings, and project reviews.
    • Identify stakeholders early and align teams around priorities, trade-offs, and goals.
    • Communicate project status, risks, delays, and timeline changes clearly and consistently.
    • Partner closely with Product on roadmap execution and cross-team dependencies.
  • Engineering Operations:
    • Support Engineering planning processes and help coordinate project intake.
    • Maintain organized, accessible project documentation, meeting notes, decisions, and records.
    • Standardize project tooling, dashboards, templates, and workflows.
  • Process Improvement & Governance:
    • Design and document repeatable project processes and company standards.
    • Organize project information within SharePoint and Microsoft 365 using consistent structures and naming conventions.
    • Support information governance practices including access management, retention, version control, and project record management.
    • Measure and continuously improve project delivery effectiveness across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Experience using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Experience creating project plans, roadmaps, Gantt charts, burndown charts, status dashboards, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting product introduction and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Background within SaaS, software, technology, medical device, or similarly technical environments.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to understand engineering, IT, and data-focused discussions and identify project risks.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across departments and functions.
  • Experience developing, improving, and implementing operational processes.

Requirements

  • PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience within healthcare technology or regulated environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, ISO 13485, or FDA-regulated organizations.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts involving hardware, embedded software, application software, or data platforms.
  • Familiarity with design controls and regulated product development processes.
  • Experience with IT implementations, migrations, or vendor transitions.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, or Planner to manage information and collaboration.
  • Experience helping establish project governance standards, PMO functions, or company-wide project management practices.

What Success Looks Like
