Role Description

NORESCO is seeking a Project Manager for its Federal and Energy Services teams. The individual will have construction experience with a variety of tasks associated with managing campus mechanical and electrical distribution systems and other energy infrastructure. Responsibilities include:

• Working with a construction team to support project development, estimating, scheduling, contract/subcontract development, safety oversight, project financial performance, quality control/quality assurance, and contract compliance.
• Participating in internal and external meetings to provide expertise and assist teams in developing successful projects to address client needs.
• Managing project documentation, schedules, and customer interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or Navy Nuclear Power graduate.
• Contractor licenses preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with the installation and commissioning of steam distribution and other mechanical, electrical, or building/balance of plant control systems.
• Proven track record of success in dealing with customers and overseeing subcontractors and/or project managers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% during the work week.
• Mental alertness and ability to concentrate with distractions nearby.
• Ability to stand, stoop, reach, bend, climb, and crawl.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.
• Desire to build and maintain respectful and inclusive working relationships with project team members.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to identify errors, concerns, or ambiguities in contract documents.
• Eligible to obtain federal security clearance, if required.
