[Hiring] Project Manager @Flintco, LLC

Role Description

Act as the liaison between Flintco, the owner representatives, major subcontractors, architects and engineers, and provide valuable input based on construction expertise to benefit the commercial construction project.

• Responsible for providing management supervision to project personnel on assigned Utility-Scale PV build-out Solar Projects.
• Ensure that the projects are completed in compliance with Flintco 4 Life, within budget and on schedule.
• Overall management direction for all functions required to successfully deliver project(s).
• Assure sufficient resource allocation and client satisfaction.
• Review preparation and culmination of project estimates and bids.
• Collaborate with management in selecting and assigning project personnel.
• Review the selection of subcontractors and completion of contract arrangements.
• Review proposed materials and shop drawings from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review preliminary project schedule and detailed schedule when appropriate.
• Ensure all required project management/administrative pre-requisites are prepared and submitted to the architect.
• Collaborate with the Project Superintendent in overseeing the delivery of materials to the job site or outside storage.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, and site-specific safety plans.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure accurate cost reporting and alignment with earned value and schedule progress.
• Monitor construction activities, resolve problems and issues which arise.
• Review monthly project status reports, project billings, and provide information to keep upper management and client informed.
• Ensure that "punch list" items are completed.
• Ensure that closeout documentation is submitted (i.e., drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties from subcontractors and suppliers).
• Participate in and expedite fair settlement of final disputes, litigation, and final payment dispositions.
• Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Requires regular travel and work in unanticipated project locations throughout the U.S. - estimated at approximately 50% of the time.
• No international travel.
• May supervise project management personnel and field crews.
• Supervises assigned subordinate Project Administrators, Office Engineers, Project Engineers, Assistant Superintendents, Superintendents, and Assistant Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 4 years of experience in the job offered, or related.
• 4 years must include experience with utility scale solar PV/renewables, including estimating, project management, scheduling, cost control, and personnel administration.
• 3 years must include experience with EPC project delivery.
• 3 years must also include experience with:
  • Preparing detailed construction project plans, schedules, and estimates.
  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Calculating square footage, volumes and percentages using a personal computer and calculator.
  • Using application skills in geometry, trigonometry and algebra.

Requirements

• Experience with utility scale solar PV/renewables.
• Experience with estimating, project management, scheduling, cost control, and personnel administration.
• Experience with EPC project delivery.
