Role Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.

• Manage project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs, and goals.
• Develop, define, and execute project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify and assign needed resources and major project roles.
• Coordinate activities across project team members, internal departments, and client/vendor organizations.
• Manage project risks, issues, and activity progress to ensure deadlines, scope, and quality targets are met.
• Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams internally and externally.
• Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct project closure activities including post-implementation reviews.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to project management coordination.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, and guidelines (PMBOK).
• Proficiency in project management software: MS Project, PlanView, Monday.com.
• Knowledge of IT project methodologies and lifecycle phases (Waterfall, Agile, Incremental).
• Knowledge of industry standards: ISO, CMM, Six Sigma.
• Strong budget management, risk management, and timeline management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to executive-level clients.
• Demonstrated negotiation, conflict management, and team leadership abilities.

Requirements

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
• Familiarity with earned value tools, SLIM Estimate, and audit/repository tools preferred.
• Experience managing vendor/subcontractor deliverables preferred.
