Role Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project deliverables to design, procure, install, commission and close out large-scale battery storage systems at customer sites throughout North America. This includes:

• Defining and managing project scope, schedule, and budget
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Change and risk management
• Project reporting and contracts management

The Project Manager will be the primary interface between the customer and project stakeholders, leading and coordinating activities between staff in Korea and the United States.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead battery storage system projects from initiation through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Project point of contact for external and internal stakeholders including Engineering resources, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, follow up actions, and provide reports to customers and internal management, including project cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Coordinate preparation and submittal of manuals, drawings, reports, and other documentation and deliverables to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage suppliers independently to address supply chain and technical issues to support project work.
• Contract Management:
  • Understand contracts and issue change orders as needed with supervisor review.
  • Understand all the LD, financial, and schedule risk drivers.
  • Responsible for compliance with all contractual requirements and development of change orders.
• Project Controls (Financial and Schedule):
  • Track when vendors or third parties need to get paid.
  • Assist in PTS/Revenue Tracking/Forecast/Scheduling duties for the project.
  • Regular meetings with project scheduler to keep the P6 schedule updated.
• Technical Design & Engineering Support:
  • Identify technical issues and route to proper resources for solutions.
  • Basic understanding of AEROS, Battery, and PCS products.
  • Delegate technical decisions to engineering/software teams.
• Commissioning:
  • Support Cx coordination activities and attend daily PODs.
  • Manage vendor and customer during commissioning process.
  • Interface with performance engineering to generate commissioning reports.
• Risk Management:
  • Create and manage a risk register.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in a technical discipline is preferred.
• PMP Certification or demonstrated competency in managing complex projects is a plus.
• 4+ years of Project Execution experience required.
• Experience with electrical equipment or power/utility/renewables market is a plus.

Travel

• This position requires approximately 20% travel annually, including regular travel to project sites during key milestones.
