Role Description

Ragnar Benson Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking a driven Project Engineer to support passenger and heavy rail construction, data centers, and commercial building projects across the United States. The Project Engineer is responsible for:

• Coordinating project documentation
• Managing submittals and RFIs
• Supporting scheduling and subcontractor activities
• Tracking project costs and quantities
• Ensuring quality control
• Assisting with project closeout efforts

Working closely with project management and field teams, the Project Engineer plays a key role in delivering complex construction projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on large-scale projects nationwide while building a long-term career with a leading contractor in the transportation and infrastructure industry.

Travel & Project Assignment:

• You can live in any city or state in the continental United States.
• You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the United States.
• Must be capable of working on-site for 2 weeks with a four-day home rotation.
• Designated per diem of $1,020 per week in addition to base pay to support living expenses during the travel rotation.
• Must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided for the assigned work location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Civil Engineers, Construction Management, or related field preferred); High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of experience in Civil or Industrial Construction is required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. both now and in the future without company sponsorship
