Role Description

This role involves acting as the primary regional representative for the execution and delivery of clinical projects.

  • Cultivate excellent Sponsor relationships
  • Provide project oversight and assist with project delivery services
  • Ensure projects are adequately staffed and meet quality, schedule, and budgetary requirements
  • Champion the project forecasting process
  • Monitor third-party agreements and manage team performance
  • Contribute to Business Development activities by assisting with proposals and bid defenses
  • May include additional Administrative, Staff, and Budgetary responsibilities for a small satellite office

Client Relations

  • Establish and maintain high-quality client relationships throughout the project life cycle
  • Work with clients and CPMs to establish delivery expectations, metrics, and communication standards
  • Ensure clients are well informed on project progress, risks, issues, and changing needs
  • Address and resolve client queries in a timely manner
  • Assist with RFP/bid defense processes when required

Project Delivery

  • Oversee, monitor, and manage project planning and implementation activities
  • Work with CPMs and other functional specialists to deliver high-quality projects
  • Review and approve project scope, budget, metrics, tools, recruitment, and training requirements
  • Ensure all project elements are realistic, completed, and adhere to project and regulatory requirements

Control and Evaluation

  • Oversee and review project critical paths
  • Provide guidance and regular feedback to Clinical Project Managers
  • Ensure alignment with client expectations and adherence to project SOPs, controls, guidelines, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain consistent high-quality service levels from internal and third-party providers

Project Services Communication

  • Identify, review, and deliver communications to project teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure roles and responsibilities, project progress, and data issues are clearly communicated
  • Establish stakeholder feedback processes to confirm issues are addressed appropriately and timely

Unit Performance

  • Evaluate, assign, and monitor unit resource requirements
  • Ensure all projects are planned, staffed, and resourced appropriately
  • Manage hiring, terminations, performance evaluations, staff training, and development activities
  • Provide input to the director during the corporate budget process

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience with ongoing training
  • Three-year College Advance Diploma/Degree in a relevant field of study, preferably in (Health) Sciences or Clinical Research
  • Self-motivation with strong communication skills
  • Commitment to achieving positive results
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Ability to engage in continuous learning and self-development
  • Ability to foster teamwork

Working Conditions

  • Home Based
  • Occasional travel
