[Hiring] Program Manager - Global Trade Compliance @Cardinal Health

Role Description

The Cardinal Health Global Trade Compliance team (“GTC”) is responsible for the development and implementation of an effective compliance program through identification and interpretation of laws and regulations, provision of regulatory guidance, training and development, audit and assessment, data management, process design and continuous improvement, automated tool development and M&A due diligence. This position plays a critical role in driving complex, high-impact projects that enable Cardinal Health to navigate an evolving global trade environment. This position partners closely with the Global Trade Compliance leadership team to plan, execute, and deliver initiatives related to:

• Tariff mitigation
• Trade disruption response
• Compliance program enhancements
• Systems implementations
• Long-term trade strategies

The ideal candidate brings strong project management fundamentals—equivalent to PMP-level discipline—and can effectively lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines and scope, communicate risks, and ensure successful completion of projects that materially impact business continuity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of project management experience, ideally supporting global, cross-functional initiatives preferred.
• Strong project management fundamentals—equivalent to PMP-level capability (PMP certification preferred but not required).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects in a global or matrixed organization.
• Experience supporting or managing global trade compliance, supply chain, or regulatory projects preferred.
• Understanding of customs concepts such as tariffs, HTS classification, country of origin, duty-savings programs, and valuation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com) and standard productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

• Ensure projects adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Escalate issues to leadership when needed, providing clear options and recommendations.
