Role Description

Dinarys GmbH is looking for a PMO Manager / Senior Project Manager to strengthen our delivery organization and establish consistent project management standards across our software development portfolio.

We’re looking for a PMP-certified professional who combines strong hands-on project delivery experience with the ability to improve PMO processes, governance, reporting, resource planning, and delivery standards.

The PMO Manager will help Dinarys build a more predictable, transparent, and scalable delivery organization by:

• Standardizing project management practices
• Improving portfolio visibility
• Strengthening risk and resource management
• Enabling delivery teams to operate more efficiently

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, managing scope, budget, timelines, quality, risks, and resources.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate distributed cross-functional engineering teams.
• Collaborate with clients, Engineering, Solution Architects, QA, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and improve PMO standards, processes, templates, reporting, and governance based on PMI practices.
• Monitor project and portfolio KPIs, risks, dependencies, resource utilization, and delivery health.
• Support Project Managers with complex delivery situations, risk management, planning, and escalations.
• Coordinate resource and capacity planning with Project Managers and Resource Management.
• Identify systemic delivery risks and improvement opportunities across the portfolio.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management and delivery practices.
• Support projects involving AI, enterprise integrations, third-party platforms, licensing, and regulated environments.
• Coordinate the selection of engineering teams and technical experts to ensure the right competencies are available for project delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a delivery partner throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role in software development.
• PMP certification is required.
• Strong practical experience applying PMI principles and project management practices.
• Proven experience managing complex software projects for international clients.
• Experience working across multiple projects or a project portfolio.
• Experience establishing or improving PMO processes, project standards, and governance.
• Strong understanding of project reporting, risk management, stakeholder management, and delivery metrics.
• Experience with resource planning, capacity management, and project staffing.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern SDLC practices.
• Experience working with technically complex engineering projects.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar tools.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience building or managing a PMO function in a software development company.
• Experience delivering AI-powered products or enterprise AI initiatives.
• Agile delivery at scale (SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS).
