As a Manager of Project Management, you’ll ensure achievement of project management group objectives through leadership and development to meet the needs of the business. You'll advise on project management issues and identify areas within Project Management for development and efficiencies in performing tasks.

• Manage and motivate project management staff.
• Recruit, train, develop, and assess employees' performance.
• Write, evaluate, amend, and deploy procedures and SOPs in global alignment.
• Monitor SOP and key task compliance.
• Serve as chief liaison between sponsor and all PPD internal departments.
• Control, manage, and delegate day-to-day activities during clinical trials.
• Conduct regular face-to-face client meetings to address concerns.
• Manage client and/or program level oversight and relationships.
• Establish and advocate high-level customer service for clients and programs.
• Plan and support workflow of team members.
• Perform as a mentor and trainer, identifying areas for development.
• Serve as a back-up for the Associate Director PM when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years) or equivalent and relevant combination of education, training, & experience.
• 1+ year of leadership responsibility.
• Central lab leadership strongly preferred.
• In some cases, an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient.

• Ability to multi-task and handle pressure.
