Role Description
As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing infrastructure projects across multiple data centers.
- Manage and prioritize a portfolio of infrastructure projects based on product owners’ requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Ensure the on-time and successful completion of projects by effectively managing schedules, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate clear and efficient communication with internal teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and project status.
- Work closely with product owners, solution architects, procurement, logistics, field engineers, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Maintain relationships with external data center providers, internet service providers, and other third-party vendors to guarantee project milestones are met and service level agreements are adhered to.
- Proactively identify risks and issues within projects and implement solutions to mitigate or resolve them.
Qualifications
- Mid-level experience in infrastructure project management, ideally in data center or similar IT infrastructure environments.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher) with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Hands-on experience managing infrastructure projects, with a solid understanding of servers, networking equipment, data center operations, and internet connectivity.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to identify problems early, propose solutions, and escalate when necessary.
- Familiarity with Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
- Basic knowledge of Kanban or other project management methodologies and their application in infrastructure projects.
- PMP, or similar project management certification
