[Hiring] GCP Program Manager @Kairos

Role Description

Build and lead residential workshops that help exceptional people pursue high-impact work in AI safety, biosecurity, and policy.

What You’ll Do

• Own two or more GCP programs.
• Run programs experimentally.
• Own outreach and participant selection.
• Build relationships and recruit guests.
• Design excellent workshops.
• Lead workshops in person.
• Lead your program teams.
• Measure impact and iterate.
• Help GCP scale.

Qualifications

• Experienced at running events.
• Mission-aligned.
• Good with people, and energized by workshops.
• Comfortable managing a small team.
• High-agency.
• Highly organized.
• Familiar with the AI safety ecosystem.

Benefits

• Salary: $140,000–$195,000 (baseline), $175,000–$245,000 (supported hubs), or $195,000–$270,000 (San Francisco Bay Area), depending on experience.
• Location: Remote role with access to office space in select cities.

• Team retreats: All-team retreats three times a year.
• Travel: Work-related travel and expenses covered.

Logistics

• Start date: Ideally by October or early November 2026.
• This is a remote role, with travel roughly 8 to 12 times a year.
• Preference for candidates within five hours of UK time.
• Visa sponsorship may be available depending on individual circumstances.
