[Hiring] Freelance Agile Project Manager @Heady

Role Description

• Managing discovery, design, development and launch of a complex ReactNative projects of one of our clients.
• Run daily stand-ups with the offshore engineering team and design team.
• Communicate progress and appropriate escalation to Account Manager, product manager and clients.
• Manage project timelines, coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and ad-hoc meetings.
• Work with internal and external (clients) Product Owners to handle backlog grooming, changing priorities and new requirements.
• Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and help teams implement changes and features effectively.
• Ensure deliverables are up to high quality standards at the end of each sprint and client’s expectations are aligned on project deliverables, next steps, and blockers.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams across design and engineering disciplines on a daily basis.
• Ensuring projects are on track and raising issues or flagging risks effectively.
• Produce and manage all necessary project documentation, including project timelines, resource plans, action/task sheets, and status documents.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager with a deep passion for coordinating software development teams.
• You’ll be responsible for managing a multi-functional team through design and development of a new product build.

• Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with team members, establish roles and responsibilities, provide direction and foster effective team skills to complete tasks on time.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and are able to communicate project details clearly.
• Able to estimate work, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of Scrum Master or Agile Project Management Experience in a digital/tech agency, professional services or consulting environment, with a focus on running efficient sprints.
• Has been client-facing and comfortable communicating and presenting to client teams.
• Experience leading full SDLC of mobile apps and delivering tech products and has experience working closely with remote teams.
• A solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software development, including experience in mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation.
• Exceptional planning, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and tenacious, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure, whilst remaining objective and retaining a positive approach.
• Available to work Monday to Friday 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM IST.
