[Hiring] Federal Project Manager @Juvare

Role Description

As a Project Manager working primarily on Federal and Department of War projects, you’ll put your leadership and project management skills into practice as part of our software implementation and technology services team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on managing key projects to:

• Develop project plans
• Monitor project progress
• Coordinate with stakeholders
• Deliver software applications, training, and documentation deliverables to clients

You will be expected to manage the scope, cost, and schedule to successfully execute contract deliverables for our clients while meeting all Juvare business and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years technology project management required
• 3+ years in client-facing project management roles required
• Active Public Trust Security Clearance (or higher), or be able to pass a PTSC background check
• Client project experience in one or more of the following industries: emergency management; federal, state, or local government; healthcare; education; defense; aviation; or transportation
• PMP or similar project management certifications a plus; if hired, will be required to achieve PMP within 12 months of hire date

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Firm grasp of project financial management and executive-level reporting
• Keenly adapt at clarifying, documenting, and facilitating the resolution of issues and conflicts
• Demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks, including risk mitigation and contingency planning
• Situational Leadership skills preferred
• Superior ability to handle stress and prioritize competing priorities and changing deadlines
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% of time to client or internal company sites
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies strongly preferred
• Familiarity with NetSuite a plus
