Role Description

Pond is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing, award-winning Federal group. We are looking for a self-starting, driven individual who will augment our strong team dynamic and embrace our client-first culture. This person must demonstrate a natural desire to take initiative, lead teams, and consistently exceed client expectations.

• Responsible for managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Overseeing sub-consultants.
• Possess a thorough understanding of design requirements for federal facilities, including both DoD and non-DoD agencies.
• Specific experience supporting Navy projects strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction organization, preferably supporting Federal clients (Navy experience strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Professional Registration (PE or RA) required.
• Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management.
• Experience with Federal contracting, procurement processes, and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Occasional attendance at meetings and off-site events; must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Position may require occasional travel.
• Must be able to travel internationally, if required, via passport or other official documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC); access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
