[Hiring] Event Project Manager @Meeting Tomorrow

Role Description

The Event Project Manager is responsible for managing a high volume of AV production projects for small to mid-sized corporate events for a wide variety of our clients. Clients hire us to provide audiovisual equipment and technical teams for their events across the country and you would manage the oversight of each project.

• Work with clients across tech, finance, pharma, and non-profit industries.
• Serve as the face of Meeting Tomorrow throughout the event execution process.
• Be the client's main point of contact and accountable for event outcomes.
• Understand each client's goals, spot gaps in the plan, and recommend the right path.
• Keep clients, vendors, and internal teams on track from first call to final invoice.
• Role requires some onsite travel (approximately 10-15%, or about 2-3 days per month).

What You'll Own

• Audiovisual Event Project Planning: Manage overlapping events, project scope, timelines, and budgets. Guide clients through the project lifecycle and coach them on AV production best practices.
• Communication & Decision Making: Lead the information flow between internal teams, venues, vendors, and the client. Set clear deadlines and prepare onsite staff for successful execution.
• Client Relationship Building: Build genuine connections with clients and bring enthusiasm that drives credibility and repeat business.
• On-Site Relationships: Travel to meet with clients and understand their events from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of Event Experience: Experience leading events at an agency or high-touch client setting.
• Organization & Speed: Ability to handle a high volume of work and multitask effectively.
• Clear Communicator: Confidently set expectations and follow through.
• Relationship Builder: Build relationships and adapt approach based on the person.
• Technical & Creative Curiosity: Eager to dive into AV production and creative service logistics.
• Adaptability: Make decisions in unpredictable spaces and adjust to keep projects on track.
• Values Alignment: Demonstrate kindness, commitment, and humility.

Impact

• Within 1 month: Learn about MT’s services, have training opportunities, and meet with current team members.
• Within 3 months: Build strong relationships, create processes for clients, and become proficient in CRM and project planning tools.
• Within 6 months: Manage accounts with autonomy, complete efficiency projects, and demonstrate problem-solving aptitude.

• Salary range: $75,286 - $94,107 a year
