Role Description
The Continuous Improvement Manager drives implementation of the Altium Production System (APS) across several pillars/elements of Operational Excellence.

The Continuous Improvement Manager assumes responsibility for the implementation of APS to assigned plants, providing leadership and coaching that result in excellence in productivity while maintaining the well-being of all plant employees.
Essential Functions - Roles/Responsibilities:
- Educate, communicate, and work with all levels of manufacturing employees including senior leadership, plant leaders, and shop-floor employees
- Plan, lead, and facilitate meetings/working sessions
- Direct and lead multiple initiatives at once
- Build and implement detailed project plans
- Utilize computer skills necessary to build presentations and spreadsheets
Qualifications
- Working knowledge and practical experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) including team development and coaching is required
- Practical application of TPM and Continuous Improvement principles
- 4+ years Manufacturing operations experience strongly preferred, especially in rigid plastics and continuous flow manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively assess situations and make appropriate decisions in a timely manner
- Strong persuasive and influential leadership skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to understand and organize data
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Remote based role that requires travel as well as using technology for remote-resourcing (augmented reality, video, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred (any field directly related to the design and/or manufacturing of the primary products), or in a significantly related field such as business, planning or supply chain
- Continued career interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement, plant operations/management, and senior management roles
