[Hiring] Configuration Team Implementation Manager @Capita

Role Description

We are looking for an Implementation Manager to join our configuration team within our Implementation Department, responsible for implementing first-class pension administration solutions for our new and existing clients. Our projects range from large blue-chip strategic transformational deliveries to small bespoke client solutions.

• Manage an Implementation team responsible for the delivery of automated calculations for new clients.
• Ensure all people management tasks are carried out appropriately and staff are developed, mentored, and trained as required.
• Review all project and team documentation for quality standards.
• Incorporate process changes and liaise with Programme/Project managers to facilitate project deadlines and timescales.

Qualifications

• Strong technical pensions knowledge in DB schemes and able to explain complex matters.
• System/Calculations Configuration or Operations background with strong management and/or leadership skills.
• Experience of client interaction and dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Evidence of previous experience of implementing change or working in a project environment.
• Understanding of System Testing and/or User Acceptance Testing.
• Familiarity with pension administration systems, member records, and their operational processing.
• Able to analyze requirements to ensure output is fit for purpose.
• Up to date with legislation and policy changes affecting pensions.
• Detailed understanding of DB, DC, CARE, and Annuities, including their administration and system/process implications.
• Commitment to providing a quality service with error identification as part of the checking and sign-off process.

• Deliver new client implementations on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
• Support and develop team/staff to enable client service excellence and create innovative solutions.
• Own and promote best practices within the team and oversee/sign off process improvements.
• Review and agree project plans for identification and mitigation of risks and issues.
• Support Programme/Project Managers in steering projects to successful closure.
• Ensure all projects are resourced appropriately, escalating risks as necessary.
