Role Description

The Change Manager III brings energy, passion, and global perspective to strengthen Compassion International's change management capability through subject matter expertise and relationship building.

Serve as a Change Manager on key projects/initiatives
Promote the growth of global change capabilities
Advocate for change awareness, adoption, and retention
Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Act as an advocate to raise awareness of the needs of children
Commit to child protection considerations in all decision-making
Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors
Take coaching and guidance from a Sr. Change Manager
Partner with the Sr. Change Manager to build change capabilities
Listen to and build trusted relationships between US-based and international neighbors
Partner with Project Managers to integrate Change Management with project planning
Leverage knowledge of change management practices to develop a case for change
Anticipate stakeholder needs and points of resistance
Partner closely with Project Management, Communications, and Learning Services
Bring cross-cultural insight from Compassion’s global workforce
Serve as a thought leader and proactively mitigate risks
Create and continuously improve Compassion's change management methodology

Qualifications

Global perspective into Compassion’s Change Management methodology, tools, and practices
5+ years progressively responsible experience in business change, process improvement, communications, and/or project oversight
10+ years of professional experience
Willingness to flex to accommodate global partnerships
Skilled at cross-cultural interactions and relationships
Demonstrate leadership by leading through influence and collaboration
High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and integrity

Requirements

Overlap standard United States Mountain Time working hours (8am-5pm) by approximately 3-4 hours as a daily average
Flex for other global project/stakeholder meetings as needed
Relevant industry certifications preferred: Prosci ADKAR certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) designation
