[Hiring] Agile Project Manager @Acre Security

Role Description

We're looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our Project Management team. You will own end-to-end delivery of our visitor management, access control, and intrusion products, from requirements through release. You'll coordinate across R&D, engineering, product management, supply chain, compliance, and third-party partners. You'll lead Agile practices, keep stakeholders aligned, anticipate and reduce risk, and make sure releases ship on time and to a high standard.

What You’ll Do

• Delivery & Scheduling
  • Manage end-to-end delivery, testing, and release of access management & intrusion products.
  • Estimate, plan, and schedule project timelines, including milestones, sprint cadences, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain Jira project sprints covering software, firmware, and hardware dependencies.
  • Track capacity and velocity to make realistic commitments and adjust plans as priorities change.
• Agile Leadership
  • Organize and facilitate project kick-offs, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to set priorities and keep backlogs aligned with business goals.
  • Guide and motivate Agile teams to deliver value and build a culture of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Hold teams accountable for their deliverables and commitments.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Agile and project management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Risk Management & Litigation
  • Identify, assess, and track project risks, dependencies, and issues early in the lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain risk registers with clear owners, mitigation plans, and contingency strategies.
  • Monitor risk triggers before they affect scope, schedule, cost, or quality.
  • Escalate issues and blockers promptly, with clear impact analysis and recommended options.
• Release Coordination
  • Plan and coordinate project releases across engineering, QA, and Product.
  • Define and reinforce release readiness criteria.
• Stakeholder Communication
  • Give stakeholders clear visibility of project schedules, status, resources, risks, and costs.
  • Produce regular reporting, including monthly status updates, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Manage communication and expectations with third-party partners, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive timely, well-documented decisions.
  • Build strong working relationships across onsite and remote teams and across timezones.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in Agile project management.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred; PMP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP is an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of products across multiple teams.
• Strong experience delivering complex software or firmware products.
• Excellent knowledge of Agile and project management principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management, release management, and building integrated project schedules.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Hands-on experience managing Epics, Stories, and issues in Jira.
• Knowledge of electronics, manufacturing processes, or supply chain is an advantage.
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams and external partners.
• Determined, self-motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
