[Hiring] YouTube Product Manager @GreenTomatoMedia LLC

Role Description

Are you someone who can spot a winning YouTube angle before anyone else does? We're looking for someone who wants to build YouTube channels from scratch and watch them take off. You'll spot the topics and keywords worth chasing, launch new channels, produce content at scale, own the SEO and rankings, and keep testing until you find what actually works.

This is not a traditional content creator role. You’re expected to think like a YouTube growth/product manager, not just produce videos. You'd be joining our YouTube department, a fully remote team that builds and grows channels across several markets, inside a digital media company that's been ranking content through SEO for years.

Our playing field is iGaming (online casino), one of the most competitive markets out there, and for that exact reason, one of the most rewarding.

The role starts before any video exists:

• Finding the keywords worth going after
• Studying what competitors rank for and why

From there, you produce at scale:

• Ideas, scripts, voice-over, thumbnails, publishing
• Often remixing what you already have to test a new angle

Once channels are live, the work turns analytical:

• Rankings, CTR, retention, signups
• You read them and decide the next move

Most tests won't work: That's the job. What matters is how fast you learn, and how quickly you scale what lands. You'll use AI and automation throughout, and work within YouTube's policies as a regulated industry.

Where you'll spend your time:

• Finding opportunities: keywords, search intent, competitors, channel angles
• Building and producing: channels, content at scale, packaging
• Outranking the competition: SEO, positions, CTR, retention
• Converting: turning views into signups
• Testing and adapting: scaling what works

Qualifications

• You're a heavy YouTube user and understand why some videos perform better than others
• You're analytical and comfortable making decisions from numbers
• You naturally think in terms of testing, measuring and improving
• You're proactive and comfortable owning projects independently
• You understand the basics of SEO, keywords and search intent
• You're comfortable with content production and basic video editing
• You already use AI tools and actively explore new ones
• Excellent English, written and spoken

Requirements

• You'll launch things that go nowhere, and watch good ideas underperform for reasons you can't explain yet
• The people who do well here keep adjusting, and read a failed test as information

The Hiring Process
