[Hiring] Product Manager @Supabase

Role Description

We're hiring a Product Manager for Supabase Auth. You'll own the surface area that developers use to authenticate and authorize their end users and manage identity in their apps:

• Email, phone, and social login
• Passkeys and MFA
• Enterprise SSO
• The OAuth 2.1 server
• Auth hooks
• Support for organizations and multi-tenant applications

You'll work closely with the Auth engineering team and with partners across Product Management, Security, Design, and GTM. This role is ideal for someone who’s excited about building tools for millions of developers and who has a strong understanding of existing and emerging authentication practices and protocols.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Collaborate with customers of all sizes and expertise levels:
• Indie developers shipping a side project
• Startups choosing their first auth stack
• SaaS teams designing multi-tenant access
• Enterprises in security review
• Own the problem statements and solution rationale behind the Auth roadmap.
• Work with Engineering and Design to shape how Supabase crafts the developer experience for the problems you’ve prioritized solving.
• Define how Auth works for AI agents on Supabase.
• Use data to understand how Supabase developers are using Auth features.
• Keep Engineering, Design, and GTM aligned.
• Own the plan of record for what's coming, why, and in what order.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools, or equivalent depth as an ex-founder.
• Comfortable commenting on an architecture doc and following a design discussion.
• Experience shipping standards-based auth or identity products.
• Owned OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, sessions or token design.
• Work comfortably with corporate buyers and developers.
• Familiar with Postgres and row-level security.
• Work async by default.

Requirements

• Owned auth or identity inside an integrated cloud platform.
• Ran an organizations, tenancy, or SSO+SCIM launch from start to finish.
• Designed auth for agents or other automated systems.
• Shipped something using Supabase.
