Role Description

This role involves performing a vital role in the development of reliable, cost-effective, high volume fire detection products.

Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance.
- Recruit and onboard new team members.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., product management, sales, marketing) to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and technical issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Technical Expertise & Guidance:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of the company's technical strategy.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide technical input.

Qualifications

Ability to consistently plan and manage the team’s tasks and time to deliver multiple projects on time.
Demonstrate an adaptable approach to delivering artifacts on time with resilience, and a willingness to embrace challenges.
Identify and prioritize requirements from business stakeholders and customers to develop products with maximum value to the business.
Embrace Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
