Role Description

We are a small agency looking to find an experienced software Product Owner; someone that will be in charge of bringing our client’s vision, strategy, and roadmap to life. We are a creative bunch that works with “good people” clients and we think of ourselves as being in the “good people” camp too.

• Having agency experience is a huge plus.
• Educate clients on the WHY of what they truly want.
• Focus on the HOW and ultimately WHAT it is that we help them build.
• Obsessively focus on business outcomes for mission-driven clients.
• Sift through ambiguous ideas and bridge the gap between client and engineers.
• Be a leader for the team.
• Experience working on software projects is a must.
• Technically savvy enough to understand web apps, mobile apps, and third-party services.
• Clearly explain tech speak into normal human speak.

Tools that we use:

• Basecamp, ClickUp
• Slack
• GSuite (no one has MS Office, it is not allowed)
• Figma
• Azure DevOps
• Other tools that we might experiment with to become more efficient.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant software Product Management experience, with a preference of 5+ years.
• 3 years experience managing a software product roadmap from a “back of the napkin idea” to future iterations.
• Experience with user stories and conducting user interviews.
• Experience with impact and user journey mapping.
• Experience working on multiple products in parallel (minimum of 2).
• At least 2 years of experience at a software agency.
• At least 2 years of experience working for an Early-stage Software Startup if no experience at a software agency.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Independent with strong time management skills.
• Super Strong English language skills (native or bilingual).
