[Hiring] Senior Technical Product Manager @State of Colorado

Role Description

The Resident Services Redesign team is a high-priority initiative within the Governor’s Office of Information Technology, dedicated to reimagining how Colorado delivers services to its residents, starting with public benefits and safety net systems.

OIT is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager who will be a key member of the Resident Services Redesign team. This role will build and integrate the technology that powers a more unified, modern resident experience.

• Drive product strategy through user research, data analytics, and technical innovation.
• Lead the vision and roadmap for rethinking core services from the resident’s point of view.
• Implement robust analytics frameworks and conduct A/B testing.
• Transform how the State measures and improves digital service delivery.
• Collaborate with civic technology partners to contribute to the broader government technology ecosystem.
• Own detailed product work for a specific statewide shared service.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience delivering product management, user experience research & design, software development, or related concepts in complex environments.
• Documented proficiency in working collaboratively with teams across the software development life cycle.

Requirements

• Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education.
• Product management experience: 5+ years of product management experience owning complex digital products from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Experience defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, using qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions.
