[Hiring] Senior Product Operations Manager @Guidewire Software

Role Description

As Product Operations Manager, you own the operational rhythms of the Applications portfolio and serve as the execution partner to the Director, Product Strategy & Operations. You own the mechanics of planning rituals, reporting, tooling, and process so leaders can focus on product strategy rather than logistics.

• Own operations for a product domain.
• Manage the recurring operational rhythms of Core Applications end to end:
  • Reporting
  • Release support
  • Documentation
  • Onboarding
  • Planning coordination
  • Tooling administration
• Run the governance rituals.
• Operate the mechanics of the portfolio cadences:
  • Monthly Executive Portfolio Review
  • Biweekly Capability Review
  • Quarterly Vision Council
• Keep the release cadence reliable.
• Maintain backlog hygiene, portfolio reporting, and SDLC/GPR governance evidence.
• Create and manage domain product-health dashboards and analyze feedback.
• Drive continuous process improvement across operational workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product operations, program/project management, PMO, or a comparable operational role, ideally in an enterprise B2B SaaS or product organization.
• Strong operational discipline and program-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI to operational work and familiarity with Agentic SDLC.
• Analytical fluency with reporting and dashboards.
• Proficiency with planning and tracking tools (e.g., Aha!, Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• The ability to work with growing independence, manage competing priorities, and surface risks proactively.

Requirements

• Experience supporting portfolio governance, planning cadences, or leadership operating rhythms.
• Exposure to P&C insurance or another highly regulated, enterprise software domain.
• Product Management experience in a SaaS organization.
