[Hiring] Senior Product Manager, AI & Automation @Brandt Information Services. LLC

Role Description

As the team’s senior product manager, you decide where BizX spends its time. You work directly with department leaders and the people doing the work to understand how that work gets done today:

• Identify where work waits and where it gets retyped from one system into another.
• Map the opportunities across the company.
• Decide with the BizX Team Lead which opportunities to pursue first.
• Define what each solution should change and how we will know it worked.

Then you test your ideas:

• Build early versions yourself and gather user feedback.
• Work with engineers to build solutions for production.
• Write the requirements for engineering and decide when the result is ready.

Responsibilities in your first six months include:

• Spend time inside each department to map how work moves through the team.
• Keep a company-wide list of opportunities with problem statements and estimates.
• Agree with departments on changes and record current standings for measurement.
• Prototype quickly and gather user feedback.
• Write detailed requirements for engineers.
• Work alongside engineers during the build process.
• Decide when the work is done and test each agent against real cases.
• Hand tools to the team with documentation and a maintenance plan.
• Measure changes and report results to the executive team.
• Help people across Brandt use AI effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience working closely with non-technical teams.
• Comfortable interviewing department heads and frontline employees.
• Experience redesigning workflows.
• Built AI solutions that others rely on.
• Check AI output with test cases and evaluations.
• Comfortable in code: scripting, API calls, SQL queries.
• Measured changes against a baseline and reported results.
• Maintained trust while choosing between competing requests.
• Changed perspective on AI's role in business workflows.
• Knowledge of limiting agent capabilities and keeping humans in the loop.
• Clear writing skills for actionable documentation.

Requirements

• Nice to have: experience in business systems, operations, or internal tools.
• Nice to have: business analysis, consulting, or process improvement experience.
• Nice to have: building with LLM APIs or workflow tools.
• Nice to have: teaching others to use AI tools.
• No specific industry background required.

• Compensation range: $105,000 - $125,000.
