[Hiring] Senior Product Manager @H&R Block

Role Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll help shape the future of the Spruce platform by leading product initiatives across the mobile application.

• Lead a collaborative squad across engineering, design, and product.
• Manage the backlog and prioritize features from ideation and research through business case, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
• Work closely with stakeholders, partners, and customers to deliver a product that meets business goals.
• Help customers continue to be good with money through spending and savings accounts, cash back on spending, and more.

Day to day, you'll...

• Lead squad ceremonies and processes.
• Articulate a compelling product vision to develop engagement-driving features.
• Lead by example in problem solving and customer-centric improvement ideas.
• Act as the customer’s voice within the product development process.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the industry for consumer financial services applications.
• Develop epics, features, user stories, and roadmaps.
• Maintain and prioritize the squad backlog.
• Analyze and report on performance of features managed by the squad.
• Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to support end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of Product Management or related experience, including launching mobile-first products.
• Experience in fintech, money movement, and delivering customer-facing features within mobile applications.
• Advanced ability to navigate ambiguity, solve customer problems, and drive work forward with a high level of autonomy.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and technical intuition, including experience with data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience working across the product development lifecycle.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences, including executives.

Requirements

• An MBA or other advanced degree (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
• Product Management certification, training, or equivalent.
• Current expertise with payments, transfers, and other methods of moving funds.
