[Hiring] Senior Product Manager @Kuali

Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager – Academic Operations to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of Kuali’s academic operations product suite. As Sr. Product Manager, you’ll define and deliver solutions that streamline curriculum management, catalog, scheduling, degree audit, and advising workflows for higher education institutions.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure our products empower universities to operate efficiently and deliver exceptional student experiences.

Qualifications

• Curious, enthusiastic, empathetic individuals to solve problems and advocate for the customer.
• Experience with both Java and Node.js/React.
• Versatile developers comfortable in both greenfield and refactoring projects.
• Experience in defining and executing product strategy and roadmap for Kuali’s Academic Operations portfolio.
• Ability to develop a deep understanding of the higher education market and institutional needs.
• Experience in building evidence-based business cases for product investments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for improving education through technology.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in SaaS or enterprise software.
• Proven success in defining and launching impactful products in complex domains.
• Experience working in agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, progress, performance, and risks clearly.
• Experience with academic ERP or SIS integrations (preferred).
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and product analytics tools (preferred).
