[Hiring] Senior Product Manager @Bitwarden

Role Description

Bitwarden is looking for a technical Senior Product Manager to own Secrets Manager end to end. You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a developer and DevOps-facing product used by engineering teams to manage secrets across CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure-as-code workflows, and production services.

The category is being redrawn right now. AI agents are becoming first-class consumers of credentials, calling APIs, provisioning infrastructure, and acting on production systems at machine speed and machine volume. Answering how to give a non-human consumer the right credential, for the right window, with a clean audit trail, and revoke it the moment it should not have it is one of the defining identity security problems of the next few years. Bitwarden is investing across the portfolio to solve it, and Secrets Manager is where it lands first for developers.

You will work customer-backwards, meaning:

• Talk to developers and platform engineers.
• Understand how secrets actually move through their systems.
• Turn insights into a roadmap that wins deals and retains customers.

You will partner closely with a dedicated Senior Product Owner who runs the backlog and sprint delivery, allowing you to focus on strategy, discovery, positioning, and cross-product coordination.

You will also work in an AI-native way, using AI tooling across research, spec writing, competitive analysis, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Own the Secrets Manager roadmap and strategy.
• Run continuous customer discovery.
• Write the documents that drive decisions.
• Partner with your Product Owner.
• Own the developer experience across surfaces.
• Deliver agentic credential access in Secrets Manager.
• Partner on go-to-market.
• Measure outcomes, not output.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with meaningful time spent owning a developer-facing, DevOps, or infrastructure product.
• Ability to read API documentation, SDK specs, and architecture diagrams.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, access policies, audit logging, and credential lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ownership of a roadmap.
• Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate research, spec writing, competitive analysis, and prototyping.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely for technical and executive audiences.
• Comfort working in public.
