[Hiring] (Senior) Product Developer - Women's Underwear @Snocks GmbH

Role Description

You love turning an idea into a finished product – and fit, fabric behavior, and construction are second nature to you? And on top of that, you have a sharp eye for design and know instinctively which samples fit a brand's DNA?

As our (Senior) Product Developer – Women's Underwear (m/f/d) based in China, you are our eyes and hands in the market:

• Develop and refine women's underwear directly where it's made.
• Select samples and materials on-site.
• Ensure every product fits perfectly and looks and feels like SNOCKS.
• Work independently and closely with suppliers while staying connected with our HQ in Germany.
• Combine product development, merchandising, and design in one role.

Qualifications

• A completed degree or vocational training in apparel engineering, fashion design, or textile engineering – ideally with a focus on pattern making and product development.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the technical development of women's underwear.
• Strong eye for design and commercial appeal.
• Confident working with PDM/PLM systems (ideally Delogue) and Adobe Illustrator.
• Solid expertise in pattern making, materials, construction techniques, fit optimization, and size development.
• Self-directed with full responsibility for products.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Based in China, ideally in or around Shanghai, and willing to travel regularly within China and occasionally to Germany.

Requirements

• Independently develop new styles in women's underwear – creating measurement charts, gradings, and production-ready technical sketches.
• Scout showrooms, fairs, and supplier collections on-site.
• Build a consistent fit logic for underwear and coordinate sample rounds.
• Visit suppliers regularly on-site and solve issues as they arise.
• Align with teams in Germany (Buying, Quality, Creative) in regular touchpoints.
• Monitor sample statuses and ensure all milestones are met.
