[Hiring] Senior Manager IT - Platform Product & Experience @First Citizens Bank

Role Description

This is a remote role open for multiple markets across the United States. Leads the Product & Experience pillar of the Platform Engineering Hub. Owns strategy, roadmap, adoption, governance, and lifecycle management of the enterprise Internal Developer Platform (IDP). Accountable for developer experience outcomes, service catalog governance, golden paths, self-service engineering capabilities, platform analytics, GitOps enablement, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption, and AI-enabled engineering experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Applications development, analysis or engineering.
• 5+ years leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Infrastructure teams.
• IDP strategy and adoption leadership.
• Budget and roadmap ownership.
• IDP, Platform Engineering, DevEx, Service Catalogs, Golden Paths, GitOps, IaC, CI/CD, Platform Automation.
• DevSecOps.
• API-first Architecture.
• Product Management.

Requirements

• Previous leadership for technical implementation.
• Knowledge of Standard Development Life Cycles (like Waterfall or Agile).
• Knowledge of system and data design.
