Role Description

The Sr Capability Manager will be working on the build of a system to support Home and Community users to work with members in care management programs.

The candidate will be part of a team of 20 Capability Managers driving requirements, project management, and go-lives with tech partners.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing and implementing all operational business requirements, including technology needs, to ensure optimal operational design.
• Aligning business and/or product strategy, effective design and development, and ongoing management of the portfolio across the full lifecycle.
• Delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that solve specific problems and enable successful external product delivery and/or internal business function performance.
• Driving adoption with internal business clients and defining future capability direction that supports business strategy and new opportunities.
• Representing and cascading the vision and current scope definition to working teams.
• Supporting the prioritization of capabilities based on vision and scope.
• Leading generation of product design and experience requirements for capabilities.

Qualifications

• Healthcare background; clinical experience is a plus.
• Experience with software launches and writing requirements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare, managed care, and/or health insurance data analysis, business operations, or application development.
• Cross-functional leadership and the ability to take initiative.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent prioritization, organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Experience and ability to influence and drive performance in both direct and matrixed environments.
• Proficient EQ expertise to facilitate cross-functional teams through process discussion and impact analysis.
• Able to set priorities and demonstrate sound judgment in handling complex situations.
• Experience in developing program artifacts, including use cases, project plans, executive summaries, staffing analysis, financial assessments, etc.
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex data to executive teams, including leaders at the C-Suite level.
