Role Description

Join an experienced, close-knit Implementation team at Sweed, a product-driven software company building an all-in-one platform for cannabis retailers. This brand-new role combines deep product knowledge with technical skill, focusing on improving implementation as a system rather than just completing projects.

• Work hands-on with customers to own key implementations.
• Understand how retailers operate and solve problems in real-time.
• Build the future by turning insights into automations, process improvements, and product feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in a product development environment, or as a Product Manager/Product Owner with strong analytical skills.
• Direct experience working with external B2B customers.
• A builder’s mindset with a focus on designing systems and processes.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Technical fluency to investigate software behavior and discuss issues with engineers.
• Curiosity and the ability to learn a complex platform.
• Reliable ownership and commitment tracking.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.

Requirements

• Experience with retail software, POS, eCommerce, or inventory management.
• Experience in cannabis or another regulated retail industry.
• Hands-on experience with automation or low-code tools, scripting, or SQL.
• Proficiency in Python is a plus.
• Experience improving customer workflows or building implementation playbooks.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience leading customer workshops or conducting onsite discovery.
