[Hiring] Product Owner @Carestream Dental

Role Description

Are you a Product Owner who is ready for the next step: hungry to learn, eager to own real outcomes, and excited to grow with a team that will invest in you? As a Product Owner at Carestream Dental, you will own features and product areas across both our cloud-based SaaS platform, Sensei Cloud, and our on-premises practice management software, including SoftDent. You will work side by side with dental practices, engineering teams, and experienced product leaders.

You will:

• Set priorities for your scrum team, define and accept the work it delivers, and ensure every release adds real value for the dental offices that rely on our software.
• Gather feedback and requirements from current and future customers, turning them into clear, outcome-focused backlog items.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, UX, Service, Sales, and Strategic Partnerships to bring them to life.

This role is built for growth. You will work independently on day-to-day backlog management and delivery, while receiving regular, hands-on coaching in roadmap strategy, product discovery, and business-case development from Senior Director of Strategy and product leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in software product ownership, product management.
• Hands-on experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with SaaS and/or on-premises (installed) software, and a willingness to work across both.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; comfortable using data to make decisions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage.
• Experience in the dental or healthcare software industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar backlog tools, and with AI assistants, is a plus.

Benefits

• This is a salaried position. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, and location.
• This position is bonus eligible with benefits and is a fully remote position.
• Total Compensation: $90K - $110K USD annually, which includes a base salary and target variable incentive. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
