[Hiring] Product Manager I @Indeed

Role Description

At Indeed, we help people get jobs, and we want every Indeedian to keep growing in theirs. As a Product Manager on the People Systems team, you'll own the systems behind performance and talent at Indeed:

• The Workday processes for performance reviews, talent calibration, and promotion planning
• The leveling guides and rubrics that set expectations at each level
• The AI tools that help managers and employees prepare for each cycle

You'll work with Talent Enablement, Total Rewards, and the Workday administrators and engineers who build our solutions. Together, you'll:

• Turn feedback from each cycle into clear requirements
• Create a prioritized roadmap
• Make changes that simplify the process for employees and managers
• Launch new capabilities, such as talent mapping in performance reviews
• Keep performance and pay cycles aligned so review outcomes flow accurately into compensation planning

This work involves some of our most sensitive employee data, so you'll design for privacy, confidentiality, and the right access from the start. You'll measure success through:

• On-time cycle completion
• Fewer support questions
• Manager and employee satisfaction

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a minimum of 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to align partners and communicate roadmap decisions clearly
• Experience working closely with engineers, designers, and data scientists to define, prioritize, and deliver product improvements
• Data-driven mindset including experience with data analytics tools (SQL or equivalent), A/B testing, comfortable writing queries, interpreting experiment results, and making decisions grounded in evidence
• Deep curiosity and accountability for the data and insights of their products

Requirements

• Partner with engineering teams and other interested parties to prioritize and manage roadmaps for delivering toward product vision incrementally and efficiently
• Communicate roadmap and product plan to and get alignment with leadership, collaborators and interested parties
• Be the face of the customer internally, advocating for, and representing their needs, opportunities, and product requirements
• Identify, and monitor product goals and success metrics
• Iterate quickly to launch new features and make data-driven judgments to test their efficacy
• Provide clear written and verbal updates on the roadmap and progress toward goals to leadership and collaborators
