Role Description

The Interfaces Product Manager has primary responsibility for the delivery and lifecycle management of the Interfaces and API strategy roadmap to support supply chain and clinical workflow integration with the WaveMark solution. The role enables interoperability while preserving data fidelity required to sustain workflows supported within the solution. This role translates validated customer, user, business, integration, and technical needs into clearly defined product requirements and prioritized delivery work. The Product Manager manages assigned interfaces, APIs, features, and capabilities from discovery through definition, development, validation, launch readiness, adoption, optimization, and lifecycle support.

This individual contributor works independently on complex assignments with general guidance on new projects. The role leads assigned workstreams through influence and collaborates with Senior Product Managers, Engineering, Engineering Product Operations, Architecture, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Implementation, Support, Data & Analytics, Quality, Security, and Operations. The role may mentor less experienced colleagues but has no direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Product Discovery and Prioritization:
    • Conduct and synthesize customer, user, workflow, market, and product-performance research to define validated problems, target outcomes, and priority opportunities for assigned Interfaces and API capabilities.
    • Maintain and prioritize the assigned backlog using customer value, business impact, evidence, feasibility, dependencies, risk, and effort within approved portfolio strategy and platform priorities.
    • Communicate feature roadmaps, release plans, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks, and contribute supporting analysis to business cases and stage-gate decisions.
  • Product Definition and Delivery:
    • Translate validated integration needs into product requirements, interface and API requirements, data mappings, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, prototypes, and measurable release outcomes that preserve data fidelity and interoperability.
    • Provide timely product decisions, prioritization, requirements clarification, and outcome guidance to Engineering and Design for assigned features and capabilities.
    • Coordinate proof-of-concept, usability, alpha, beta, pilot, validation, dependency management, and release-readiness activities from initiation through delivery.
  • Launch, Adoption, and Lifecycle Management:
    • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, and Sales on launch readiness, enablement, customer feedback, adoption, and value realization.
    • Verify product and operational readiness across interface specifications, API documentation, data mapping and validation, training, implementation, support, security, quality, interoperability, and release criteria.
    • Monitor adoption, usage, satisfaction, reliability, support trends, and workflow value; recommend optimization, roadmap, modernization, migration, or lifecycle actions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Operating Discipline:
    • Lead assigned workstreams through influence, create clarity across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and escalate material scope, priority, timing, dependency, or outcome risks with recommendations.
    • Maintain product decisions, metrics, risks, dependencies, and status in required systems and facilitate effective cross-functional working sessions.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of product management policies, procedures, practices, templates, and metrics, and may mentor less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, healthcare, engineering, supply chain, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 4–8 years of related experience, including product management, product ownership, business analysis, healthcare technology, enterprise SaaS, platform products, or software development preferred.
  • Experience supporting products or capabilities through discovery, requirements, development, validation, launch, adoption, and optimization.
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and decision artifacts in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge to varied, complex assignments; develop solutions consistent with organizational objectives; and work independently with general guidance on new projects.
  • Healthcare supply chain, inventory management, clinical workflow, EHR/ERP integration, data and analytics, or regulated product experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, facilitation, presentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, communicate trade-offs, and collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%, based on product and customer needs.
  • Customer/Vendor credentialing may be required (this may include vaccinations) --additional details will be provided if selected for the interview process.
