Role Description

Signify Health deploys more than 5,000 clinicians across every county in the United States. The Clinician Payments team owns the infrastructure that calculates, distributes, and displays clinician pay, including:

• Base rates
• Incentive structures
• Time tracking
• Tools for clinicians and operators to understand and trust every dollar

This PM will own:

• A complex payments platform that processes real compensation for a real workforce
• A growing variable compensation engine that turns incentive levers into behavioral tools

Key responsibilities include:

• Rebuilding how $2.5M+ in annual discretionary incentive spend gets configured, approved, and measured
• Replacing manual spreadsheet workflows with a reusable infrastructure capable of supporting eight distinct incentive lever types

This role requires:

• Stakeholder orchestration under genuine constraint
• High precision in written communication for engineering specs

What you'll own

• Variable Compensation Engine: Includes Zone Pay, Travel with Additional Pay, In-Market Capacity Boost, State License Incentive, Score Multiplier, Clinician Bridge Compensation, and Make-Whole Bonus incentives.
• MySignify Pay: The clinician-facing pay visibility experience.
• OCC Pay Module: The operator-facing tool within the Operations Control Center.
• Time Tracking: Foundation of pay accuracy for a W2 workforce.

Roles and responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end roadmap for the Midas Clinician Payments portfolio.
• Design and drive the Variable Compensation Engine.
• Navigate a high-complexity stakeholder map with fluency and precision.
• Write specs that engineering teams can execute with confidence.
• Partner with Finance and Operations to define how incentive effectiveness is measured.
• Manage the distinction between 1099 and W2 clinicians in everything you build.
• Define and track KPIs that connect product decisions to business outcomes.
• Conduct discovery with clinicians, operations managers, and finance partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 4–7 years of product management experience, with ownership of complex, cross-functional products.
• Background in incentive systems, compensation design, or variable pay mechanics.
• Comfort with payment complexity, including contractor (1099) and W2 workforce requirements.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across organizations.
• Hands-on technical depth, including troubleshooting integration failures.
• Strong data orientation and ability to define success metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in workforce platforms, gig economy, marketplace, or HR tech.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $92,700.00 - $185,400.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
