Role Description
This role is to support the Data Operations engineer team and the key responsibilities involve defining vision and strategy, managing cross-functional partners and building customer relationships, and leading and driving the product roadmaps.
Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. As a Product Manager, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to design, build, and deploy products that deliver the company's vision and strategy. Your partners include but are not limited to engineering, design, project management, data analytics, and program management.
Scope and Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify pain points and fill product gaps
- Generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth
- Develop product initiatives including product definition, business requirements, KPIs, milestones, and timelines
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Manage end-to-end delivery of product features
- Collaborate with engineering and design to develop the strategic deliverables
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope
- Act as a product evangelist to build product awareness and understanding
- Build positive and productive working relationships with clients for business growth
- Understand the technical implications associated with product features and decisions
Qualifications
- Experience in product management, ideally driving multiple complex products in parallel
- Experience in defining vision and strategy for technical products in large cross-functional organizations
- Demonstrated success going through full product cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial background is highly valued and entrepreneurial spirit is a must. You will be working with ambiguity and essentially building a startup within Meta
- Customer obsession: a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems
- Superior design instincts with a keen eye for detail. Track record of shipping products with intuitive designs that speak for customer obsession
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
- You are not afraid to redefine responsibilities and pursue business needs to deliver results
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- B2B/Enterprise product experience
- Experience in large organizations
