Role Description
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the app's core experience. In this role, you will support the General Manager and lead the cross-functional product team.
- Craft a strategy for how our immigration tracking app can create differentiated and defensible offerings that get us closer to our long-term product vision.
- Get to know our users and uncover their needs and pain points.
- Shape outcome-focused product goals and an ambitious experiment-driven roadmap to validate, prototype, and push forward new ideas and concepts.
- Drive execution, working iteratively and collaboratively with design, engineering, analytics, monetisation, and many others.
- Communicate effectively with people of all levels of seniority.
- Lead planning processes and associated roadmap prioritisation.
- Improve the efficiency of the product development process.
- Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape and market trends.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience shipping successful mobile consumer products that meet strict regulatory and compliance standards.
- Passionate about building great products for users with a deep understanding of commercial success.
- Experience in tackling long-standing user problems in a new way.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and ability to navigate legal constraints.
- Data-driven and relentless about metrics, continuously improving performance.
- Flexible and fluid in approach, capable of developing and changing points of view.
- Strong product sense and a hands-on approach.
- Effective communication with a diverse range of people and working styles.
Requirements
- Bonus points for experience in FinTech or with products managing large volumes of sensitive data.
- Experience with SQL.
Interview Process
- 1st Interview: Meet with a member of the People team to discuss culture fit and motivation (30 minutes).
- 2nd Interview: Connect with the Hiring Manager to assess your business acumen and team fit (45 minutes).
- 3rd Interview: Dive deep into your analytical thinking, exploring your approach to data and metrics (1 hour).
- Final Interview: Tackle a live product challenge to showcase product sense and problem-solving skills (1 hour).
