Role Description
As a Business Development Representative at Patchstack, you will help us expand our reach in redefining WordPress security. This role involves:
- Building relationships and engaging in outbound prospecting
- Working in a dynamic startup environment
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, open-source security, and vulnerability management
- Experience working with engineering teams in an agile development environment
- Ability to define product requirements, manage roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives effectively
- Analytical mindset with experience in using data-driven decision-making (SQL, analytics tools, A/B testing)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A work ethic suitable for full-remote work
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity, web security, or open-source security (Nice-to-Have)
- Previous experience with building websites with WordPress (Nice-to-Have)
- Familiarity with vulnerability research, penetration testing, or security monitoring (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with APIs, cloud security, and integrations (Nice-to-Have)
- Exposure to pricing and packaging strategies for cybersecurity SaaS products (Nice-to-Have)
