[Hiring] Product Development & Sourcing Manager @AUGO

Role Description

We’re looking for a Product Development & Sourcing Specialist to own everything between a product idea and a product that’s ready to launch. You’ll take a product idea and rough direction from our Head of R&D and carry it through specs, sourcing, quotes, negotiation, samples, and the product-side setup of the listing.

• Develop detailed, brand-aligned product specifications — materials, colours, comfort, construction, and features.
• Go wide, then narrow in manufacturer search — find and approach a large pool of factories.
• Negotiate pricing, calculate landed cost per unit, and confirm best realistic price, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and packaging.
• Ensure no supplier question sits unanswered; follow-ups happen daily until resolved.
• Order samples, track them, compare against the spec, and run revision rounds to a final answer.
• Create and manage UPC, SKU, FNSKU and QR codes; own packaging, inserts, warnings, and labelling.
• Provide organized data and reporting — clear supplier comparison, end-of-day report, weekly scorecard, and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on product sourcing experience — finding factories, engaging suppliers, and comparing quotes.
• Experience taking a physical product from idea through to production.
• Managed a supplier relationship through at least one full production run.
• E-commerce experience — Amazon private label strongly preferred.
• Amazon Seller Central experience preferred, not required.

Requirements

• Sourcing efficiently across Alibaba, 1688, and other channels.
• Amazon listing literacy — reading listings from a seller's perspective.
• Numeracy — understanding margins, landed cost per unit, and FBA size tiers.
• Clear written specifications — appropriately phased and without unnecessary complexity.
• Strong written English for reporting and negotiation.
• Reliable computer and internet connection, with daily overlap with Head of R&D.

Benefits

• Real Ownership — you run the product pipeline from spec to launch-ready.
• Direct Line to Decision-Makers — work daily with our Head of R&D.
• Paid Onboarding — proper training rather than being thrown into the deep end.
• Your Work Is Visible — every product you bring through shows up as a live listing.
• A Brand with Proven Traction — thousands of 5-star reviews on Amazon.
• Room to Grow — both the product line and the team are growing.
• Performance-Based Raises — reviewed after 90 days, then annually.
• Fully Remote — work from wherever you’re most productive.
