[Hiring] Head of Product @Driftrock Limited

Role Description

Driftrock is hiring a Head of Product to set the direction for our platform and lead the team building the products that help automotive brands and dealers deliver the world's best experience for finding, buying and owning a car.

• Team: Product, leading our Product team and working daily with Engineering, Design, Customer Success and Commercial
• Product: The whole Driftrock platform across Capture, Convert and Connect, plus our internal tooling
• Reports to: CEO
• Direct reports: Our Product Manager(s), with room to grow the team
• Location: Fully remote, UK or abroad, with a few hours of daily UK overlap
• Contract: Full time, permanent
• Salary: £85,000 to £105,000, plus share options
• Start date: As soon as you're ready

What you'll own

• Accountable for Driftrock's product strategy and the results it delivers.
• Decide why and what we build across the whole platform and our internal tooling.
• Lead and grow the product team that delivers it.
• Ensure every major bet ships and moves the metrics that matter to our customers and our business.
• Work closely with the CEO as ownership of day-to-day product leadership transitions into the Product team.

Your first 90 days

• By day 30: Meet customers, partners and every team, use the platform end to end, get to know the Product team, and map the current landscape.
• By day 60: Agree on a product strategy and 12-month roadmap with the CEO and leadership team, set up a clear product operating rhythm with Engineering and Design.
• By day 90: Ensure discovery to delivery runs on a predictable cadence, the whole company can see what's coming and why, and your first measurable product win has shipped.

What you'll be doing

• Set the product vision and strategy for the Driftrock platform.
• Lead, coach and grow the Product team, setting high standards for discovery, decision-making and delivery.
• Make prioritization calls across customer-facing products and internal tooling.
• Take new products from first discovery to market, each with a clear launch plan and success measures.
• Engage in solution design alongside Product Managers and other stakeholders.
• Stay close to customers, spending time with brands, dealers and partners every month.
• Build a product operating model that scales.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing and Customer Success on pricing, packaging, positioning and launches.
• Report on product performance to the CEO and board.

Qualifications

• A track record of leading product for a B2B SaaS platform.
• Experience managing and developing product managers.
• Evidence of taking a new product or major bet from first discovery through to a successful launch.
• Strong product judgement.
• A habit of regular customer discovery.
• The ability to work closely with engineering and design leaders.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Comfort being hands-on when it helps.
• Experience working in a smaller, fast-growing company.

Bonus points

• Experience with marketing technology, lead generation, messaging or CRM-adjacent products.
• Knowledge of the automotive or e-mobility industry.
• Experience shipping AI-powered products.
• Experience launching products into new markets.
• Experience shaping pricing and packaging for a SaaS product.
