Role Description
As the Head of New Credit Products, you will play a key role in expanding and optimizing a growing credit portfolio. Working cross-functionally with product, compliance, marketing, risk, and data teams, you will drive innovation and execution to develop new credit products that align with market needs and regulatory requirements. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and hands-on execution to ensure maximum business impact, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
- Identify and execute high-impact opportunities for new credit products, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead the ideation, development, and launch of consumer financing products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap, managing the entire lifecycle from concept to optimization.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of new credit products.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and mitigate legal and operational risks.
- Champion a user-centric approach to product design, enhancing customer experience and engagement.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously monitor product performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to drive product success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in strategic product management, particularly within credit or financial services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in product ideation, development, and lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and using KPIs to drive product profitability.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, influencing stakeholders and driving projects forward.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
