Role Description
You'll develop a product strategy that aligns with our tech and corporate strategies, driving Contact's digital product initiatives to align with our broader goal of leading New Zealand's decarbonisation efforts. We use cutting edge digital tools, ways of working and mindsets to challenge the status quo, and want to ‘leapfrog’ our digital propositions from today to tomorrow.
- Oversee the development of digital products to ensure they meet current & future user and strategic needs.
- Create and own product roadmaps and performance metrics for Corporate, Retail, Data Products, Generation & Major Projects, and Trading spaces.
- Apply a user-centric approach to always keep the customer in mind while delivering innovative solutions.
- Work in a compact Digital team, similar to a software house, backed by a large, stable organisation.
- Enjoy fully flexible working arrangements.
- Engage in continuous improvement with a modern technology stack.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of digital technologies and trends.
- Ability to quickly grasp new business and technology challenges.
- Collaborative leadership style emphasizing stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking.
- Influence and visibility within the leadership team.
- In-depth understanding of core functions within the Digital space.
- Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
- Significant experience with agile methodologies.
- Experience in the energy industry is a plus, but fresh perspectives are valued.
