[Hiring] Director / Senior Product Manager @Infopeople

Role Description

Our Client builds software that payers and TPAs use to manage benefits and serve their members, brokers, and employer groups. We're looking for a product leader to own the payer product portfolio end to end — from strategy and roadmap through delivery and client rollout — with a strong focus on the digital experiences that members, brokers, and employers actually use.

You're equally comfortable writing a clear PRD, joining a client implementation call to resolve a real-world edge case, and reading code to understand why something behaves the way it does. You'll set product direction while staying close enough to implementations to ensure what we ship works for the clients using it.

What You'll Do

• Execute the payer product roadmap, including vision, strategy, and prioritization while balancing client needs, market trends, and technical feasibility.
• Focus on key digital experiences including broker portal, employer portal, member portal, and provider search, with other digital experiences as a secondary focus.
• Write clear and complete PRDs that Engineering, Design, and QA can execute against.
• Partner directly on client implementations, identifying product gaps, resolving configuration and integration issues, and feeding deployment learnings back into the roadmap.
• Direct product design work by partnering closely with UX designers, clearly defining problems and providing actionable feedback.
• Directly manage product/business analysts, setting priorities, coaching, and turning analysis into product decisions.
• Lead cross-functionally across Engineering, Design, Client Services, and Sales without formal authority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience owning complex B2B/enterprise products; Senior or Lead-level experience preferred.
• Payer domain expertise — hands-on familiarity with health-plan operations and ideally member, broker, employer, and provider-facing experiences.
• Engineering background is non-negotiable — CS/Engineering degree or equivalent and prior coding experience.
• Demonstrated experience with PRD development and full-lifecycle product delivery.
• Experience working closely with implementation and client-services teams during deployments.
• Experience partnering with UX teams and managing or mentoring analysts.
• Strong communicator who proactively raises risks, trade-offs, and new ideas.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, with strong adaptability, self-direction, and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

• Experience at a health plan that built its own member/provider/broker portals, or with a vendor specializing in these consumer-facing experiences.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and FHIR.
